This afternoon I drove around for a bit with:
- A Shoutcast net radio station running to my phone over GPRS
- An FM transmitter plugged into the phone's headset jack
- My car radio tuned to the local transmitter
Thus, by way of a tangle of wires and adapters, I can listen to low-fi internet radio in my car. Woo!
The only thing that would have made Rube Goldberg any prouder would be passing the sound through a rotating wheel of fast-learning Mynah birds.
