Back to Work

I did indeed manage the show last night, and was very glad I did. For one thing, Brian Wagner, who used to do the show at the Daybreak (With a great deal more showmanship than I've ever managed) stopped by on his annual pilgrimage to the National Scrabble Championships.

For another, misswong77 put in an extremely rare appearance, and sang All I Ask Of You with spawrhawk. Definitely something I'm glad I didn't miss.

It was another busy night, in large part because of chargerboy and Natalie's group. Kate, a part of that group that hadn't been in before, apparently felt challenged, and proceeded to do a beautiful rendition of Think Of Me.

Another effort was made to get Carrie drunk, which succeeded admirably. I got flashed again, so another positive mark for the night.

I'm back at the day-job, and still utterly fascinated. I did just get back from the last Clam Chowder Friday with Lucinda and unbreak_able. Fun as always, though the girls were pretty tired.

Tonight I'll be doing sound for the drag queens again. In fact I'll be leaving here and going directly to the bar around 9:00.

OK. Work. Now.
