Cheerful, enthusiastic people with no attention to detail are quite possibly the most dangerous in the world.

Anyone know of a good, cheap place in the Silicon Valley that repairs laptops?

ewwwwwwwwww

Interesting. Not the reaction I'd expect - after all, nothing's, ummm, gummed-up or anything.

Just broken by someone who decided to jam the wrong thing in the wrong hole.

Wait. That doesn't sound right...

ok double ewwwwwwwwww lol :)

Thanks!

I should have thought of them - I've been buying from them since they were on Kiely - before they took over the AAA building, and branched out up the peninsula...

Re: Thanks!

I'd say I could probably do keyboards, but it would depend on the laptop. On the one in question, I utterly failed to get the bottom cover off, once.

You'd think it would just be a matter of, say, removing all 15 screws or something, but nooooo.

My friend started Pro-2-Call in Los Gatos a while ago. He's a good techie. Not sure on his prices. But I've always loved his business name. :-)

Ask Mike: Mike Kemmerrer <mike@pro-2-call.com> Drop my name if you like!

That's a bad pun even for me.

I'll check him out, when and if I have more money...
