Anyway.
We'd sorta hoped to run into Eddie, but he wasn't working that night. But hey, there was good company, excellent food, and quite a few drinks.
Then we wove our way down the street to the circus.
That was a lot of fun. Hokey as hell, with a unifying story that was just silly, and a remarkable number of performer gaffes (including a trapeze artist slamming his mid-back into a platform), but hugely enjoyable. You could tell it played extremely well to the kids in the crowd.
I was actually very impressed by the time organization. Everything was split second timed to keep things rolling. If something required a huge amount of setup, clowns would be on a different part of the stage to keep the attention elsewhere.
The elephants, while extremely well trained, were definitely not housebroken. Kudos to the pooper-scooper crew.
When that let out at around 11:00pm, Stacy and I headed up to the bar and had a couple of drinks. It was actually pretty lively - some guy was celebrating his birthday, and had a whole crew with him.

That's mostly it. I've actually slept, which is good, finally called this one supplier, who claimed they'd emailed me on the 5th to say they couldn't fill my order.
Yeah, right.
Anyway, they're supposedly refunding my money, and I've attempted ordering the same disc for about $3 more from a Canadian company that claims they have it in stock. We'll see how that goes.
