Well, as usual, nobody really showed up until 9:00pm - that being Harmony. So we ran a few rounds with just myself, timenchanter, and him. Cheri came in for several hours, and sang. Trankenstein sang a couple of songs and then left, I think with Nikki, which is something I don't want to think about too deeply.
kizmet100 sang some, as did foxypinkninja. We had a visit by the lovely hektikat, who sadly didn't sing this time. I'm looking forward to spending some time with her tomorrow, however.
lucydogstringer came in after his shift, as usual, and got backed into trying to do the Penis Song to I'm Too Sexy without his cheat sheet.
And there was the new guy, Pedro, who sang a few songs, but mostly spent the evening necking with Timmie.
A fun little evening, though of course, not particularly profitable. The weekend ended down, but by under 10% this time, which was nice.
Of course, it all started with the discussion with Paula that I mentioned previously - since I won't be working Sundays, I'm going to have to revamp my expectations.
I also need to get on the ball and revamp a couple of websites. We're shifting to the new schedule this weekend. Though I of course won't get the info on the weekend stuff until Thursday, and knowing her, it'll be incomplete. I may just get in contact with Jose tomorrow...
Theoretically, Paula will start paying me back for the stuff she owes me out of the new income. In other words, my weekly income is likely to go up, at least for the short term. I'm going to need to talk to her about that, especially since I also want to talk to her about paying forward a fund for new lighting and sound equipment.
This will, of course, involve explaining the concept of "paying forward," which may bog down rather rapidly.
Anyway. Shutdown went reasonably rapidly, and I left Timmie and Pedro to entertain each other while I dropped by IHOP for some nourishment and communing with the web. I was joined later by a reasonably happy Timmie.
Then home, where I wasted more time on the 'net, then slept some, then did my usual "lethargic afternoon" thing before getting up and out of the house around 5:30pm. The new thing is that Timmie has to return his laptop this week - and it's missing a ton of screws (I don't know how he manages this stuff). So I ran around to various stores trying to find something that matched, with, well, not really much luck. I have a replacement power cord, so I have at least one piece for resurrecting my old laptop for him, but the screws remain elusive.
Tomorrow I'll be getting up earlier, and trying a few places before beginning my evening with Stacy.
In any case, all this running around meant I didn't pick up kshandra until 8:00pm. She appears to forgive me, however.
We went to Cheesecake Factory, with the express intent of trying their deep fried mac&cheese. It was too die for. No, really, literally. You could just about feel the arteries congeal as you ate the stuff.
And after a few pleasant hours with her, I'm now back home, and considering little things like laundry.
