The main new people for the night were a pair of slightly older couples - Don&Rusty, and Cecilia&Lou. They were celebrating a birthday - I think Don's - and sang quite a few oldies. I haven't heard A White Sportcoat and a Pink Carnation in ages. I hope they'll be back.
But we also had much of the regular crowd, including
Not to mention some Shawn and Eddie at the end.
We also had
A quite pleasant evening.
I fit about 6 rotations into the night, and then shut down around 2:10am.
Then it was a matter of loading all the equipment into my car, in preparation for tomorrow, then heading over to Cindi's place for breakfast&computer fiddling. I managed to get the old heatsink off, and the new one in its place.
And now her computer won't boot at all. Really. It starts up for a few seconds, then the power shuts off. It seems like the power supply just isn't able to drive the system - except it was perfectly capable of it before. I have no idea what it is I screwed up, though I suspect I fried her motherboard - though that wouldn't necessarily make the power shut off.
We're going to try replacing the power supply again, because that's cheap. And if that doesn't work, it looks like new computer time...
Timmie stayed there in a food coma on the floor, and I came home and slept. Pretty much all day. I was awake for a bit at noon, and then slept until 5:00pm.
I got myself up and dressed by something like 7:20pm, spent a pleasant evening out and about, then rejoined Timmie at the bar, which was deader'n a doornail, at least at 12:30am. We were eventually joined by a guy - I think his name was Tony - who apparently used to spend a lot of time at the bar a few years ago. Timmie had one of
All while listening to a couple of Daniel's CDs.
Actually, it was a lot of fun.
Left there around 2:20am, and came home. I'm fiddling a bit with database stuff, but will likely go back to sleep soon.
