This is the second sleazy muffler shop I've tried. The first one was mostly outside - this one at least has concrete floors.
Though I left the first one mainly because no-one could be bothered to pay attention to me.
I don't know why, but I really like places like this. They're real, in a way standard offices can't even approach. And I've always liked the smell of arc welding.
So yes, I've at least started one of the things I wanted to do today. Not exactly in the morning, mind you, but it looks like they'll be done taking a sawzall and welder to my car within a half hour.
Then I can got get my new tires, and hopefully be done with auto maintenance for a couple of months.
I'm sadly going to have to start considering getting a new vehicle. I'm quite fond of my little gay Escort, but the repairs are starting to pile up...
