Very 40s American film style, including dress, styles, and matting.
I was the dictator of a small South American country. My lover was in outspoken opposition to my policies as they were right now, and was undermining my authority. As a result, I was exiling her, personally. I had taken her to a rocky defile, and we were discussing the future before she rode away.
She was, again, very much the 40s idea of a Latin American girl. Much with the huge drool factor, and also the whole "fiery" and "dramatic."
We discussed how much we loved each other, and how we wanted to start a family when I was "better" and she could come back.
She turned and rode her mule away. My heart swelled with love and loss as she headed toward the matte.
Then, sadly, since she'd certainly start a revolt against me if left unchecked, I shot her in the back of the head.
Or did I?
