I got to bed "early" this morning - a mere 1:00am. The landlord is doing some construction out back, and parking on our side of the street becomes legal again at 6:00am, so around 6:15am or so I rolled out of bed, threw on my clothes, grabbed some McDonald's breakfast (of course), parked on the street, surfed for a bit while I finished my Coke (McD's breakfasts are the only time I drink sodas, lately), then went back to bed.
Woke up again around noon, started a few text conversations, promptly fell asleep again.
At 3:30pm or so, I actually got up, and started doing some laundry. By about 6:00pm, I was hungry, so I cleaned up and put some clothes on, did some long-neglected shopping at Costco, then ended up at the Cheesecake Factory.
I of course overate badly, but that's to be expected. Through shopping and dinner, I had a nice text conversation with Debbie going. Not quite as good as having her here, but given reality, it suffices. One of the nifty results being that I actually didn't open the laptop while in the restaurant - an unheard-of situation when I'm on my own.
Of course, I was glued to a phone, but hey, details...
And then back here, where I'm doing yet more laundry. I kind of have to finish the process, now - the last load is my bedsheets. Of course, as I'm typing this, I'm realizing the things that I've forgotten to wash, but most everything will be clean.
I'm trying to motivate myself to do something about money. The clutch pretty much got rid of my buffer. I have a small settlement that's been "about to arrive" for some time, but the distribution date just got moved out to December 14th.
What with the slow bar business lately, the overwhelming lack of paying parties, and my not doing a damn thing about the sales thing, I'm just not exactly rolling in cash...
