Then some sleep, then the show. The show was pretty darn good. I was happy with it. Not a very large crowd, but then, it was Sunday. A nice group of people - Valerie actually showed up and stayed almost all night, valeriesparks and Apple showed up, so we actually had both Valeries in the same room at the same time. wavewarrior sang not one, but 4 songs. One of them was Alcohol by the Barenaked Ladies, which is not the easiest to do. Especially when you're so drunk you need to close one eye to focus on the screen successfully. But he did quite well.
The rotation stayed at about an hour all night, and things were generally low-stress. A very nice time.
Still, a slow night. unbreak_able and James traded off on who was bartending and who was watching the door. It was cute. Speaking of which, Debbie was wearing a pink sweatshirt. Just to make sure this would be perceptible through people's reality filters, it said PINK down one arm. It kept me somwhat off-balance for part of the night.
Came home, surfed, went to bed, got up, went to lunch with timenchanter, shopped for some tools for a project with Wayne tomorrow (A little pricey, I'll have to talk with him about it), got the car washed, and then came home. "She" was taking off to Gilroy. She was of course supposed to give me some money today - no mention of that was made. She did again bring up a need for a co-signer for a law school loan. It was good for a few laughs. As far as I can tell, she hasn't even made it to school this semester - too busy being drunk or high.
And now I'm in my room, procrastinating doing something useful.
