Wind Down

The rest of last night's concert was predictably awesome.

Erasure was amazing, Cyndi just rocked the place, and Rosie was even pretty funny.

Debbie, well, Debbie was a bit of a disappointment. She's never had a huge amount of stage presence, and that really hasn't changed. Still has a great voice, though.

It was interesting. Cyndi actually flubbed a few lines, but was magnetic enough that you just didn't care. Besides, she did fun stuff - she did this slow version of "She Bop" that in many ways was a mashup of her own song.

I kept on trying to remember where I'd heard the guitar riff they were using during that.

And of all things, to have all the performers come out to do "Take A Chance On Me" was, was... it was damned odd, is what it was. But very cool.

Afterwards, after some gyration through the wilds of Berkeley, we caught back up with Brandon and his boyfriend Joven at Mel's, and had some greasy spoon.

Then jeffercine drove us back to moahb's place, where I woke up, climbed in the escort, and wobbled my way home.

And proceeded to try to sleep while wrestling with my breakfast.

I woke up for a bit in early morning, and was able to help out a bit with a friend's studying, then conked back out.

At 2:30pm, I started back on the path to wakefulness, and eventually made it to Jeff's party around 4:30pm.

It's been fun, though I seem to be feeling somewhat antisocial.

Some days, ya know?
