Equipment Karma

So I've spent a great deal of time - and money I need to not have - in the last 24 hours.

I've had about 4 hours of sleep. It's more than I had time for, but I'm just not as young as I once was...

I had one hell of a fun time at Central Computer this afternoon, and have a car full of nerd legos.

I've also ordered what should be a better feedback eliminator, as well as a better reverb unit.

The interesting thing is what's now breaking. I got the car pretty much fixed up, and the next day a headlight burned out.

Today I put a lot into karaoke equipment, and the red mic just started mysteriously dropping out. I've done a couple of things to get it back on track, but I dunno - and I now don't exactly have funding for replacing it.

And one of my email addresses just stopped working again - which may screw up a couple of the transactions.

At least life isn't boring.

I need to finish off a few purchases, then get the financials together by tomorrow afternoon.

Otherwise, things are pretty good. I'm feeling better, in part because I am better, and in part because timenchanter and I grabbed a hot pot on the way to the bar, so I'm brewing myself a continuous flow of Gypsy Cold Care.

Steve's present boyfriend (?) brought in a couple of friends - Sheila and Angelica. They're not only a lot of fun, but impressive singers. So while there's not a lot of people here, I'm definitely enjoying myself.
