Let's just say that some people have a wee bit of trepidation about pictures that may go up on the website. I suggested putting a "take down" and "keep up" bidding system in place. I can't say the idea was universally accepted.
I then braved the rather amazing shopping traffic in order to make it to Costco and, well, buy a couple of pairs of pants. I've had a couple of the Kirkland black jeans for a while. They're comfortable, cheap, look reasonably good, and until recently were out of stock.
And I now have another two pair. Which means that, yes, I now own 4 identical pairs of jeans. If I just start buying loads of identical black shirts, I can truly look like I never wash my clothes.
Then home and some webbish stuff. I've put up the initial New Year's ads on both the website and LJ, thereby proving my abilities at selflessness (or, um, something): I just started advertising an event that preempts one of my nights. Now I'm not just doing stuff for free, I'm also doing stuff that effectively costs me money...
I've also finished putting together a contact page for the website. I'll be making a specific "join mailing list" page as well, shortly - I just need to do a little work at minimizing the effort of pulling the list into Evite. Or I may bypass Evite entirely. I'm not sure yet.
Anyway, I've finished dinner, and should head on out to the bar.
