Many people showed up, but like trivialt, only stayed for a couple of hours before heading home. And here I thought I'd remembered to use deodorant.
I was again reminded that in order for people to notice that there are new songs, you have to sing some of them. So last night I sang "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" (which worked out pretty well - and had markobellydance doing some interesting impromptu dance moves), "Comedy Tonight" (Not so good, and it looked like most of the crowd had never seen "A Funny Thing..."), and "Suddenly I See" (Let's just say that I'm glad the crowd had largely thinned out by that point).
I'm hoping someone will sing "Boston" before I have to, because I doubt it'll go well.
Speaking of new songs and Marko, he's donated a Sondheim tunes disc that I entered in the song list during the show. Some good stuff - check it out. I'll of course have new song sheets on Sunday. And hopefully by Monday I'll have the last two discs in this update run, and can start printing books.
I ran for 7 rounds then quit, somewhere around 1:45. Then I went and gorged myself at Carrows. Which is probably a large part of why I didn't sleep much last night. Whatever the reason, I was back up around 8:30, and haven't really been able to nod off since.
I went and had a nice ThepThai lunch today with timenchanter, though during the drive there and back I demonstrated exactly how much I needed sleep. Not good. Then I dropped by Party City to look at costumes. To which I say "ugh". Nothing I was even remotely interested in.
Though I now do have an idea for something I can wear Saturday night. I even own most of the pieces. I still need to go shopping for props this afternoon with Timmie, though.
Anyway, I'm going to get back to trying to nap.
