On top of that, enough people dropped out that I made it to within one person short of 5 rounds.
That person was Kristin, so she probably breathed a sigh of relief. After all, I'd completely dumped her first song on her, without even asking.
As usual, she rocked.
bluize apparently changed the cover charge to a voluntary donation for the KJ, and blankreloaded also passed around the tip jar, with the result that I didn't do half bad last night. I don't think the bar did, either.
I managed to close up by just about 2:30, drove kshandra home, grabbed a snack, then crashed. Ummm, in bed, that is.
Today started with a request for a ride from mena_kissesoh1, and a suggestion of lunch from timenchanter. Surprisingly, I got my lazy ass out of bed, and did both.
Then I recorded that damn release of jusgement form.
I'm likely going to be in New Zealand for a week and a half in early November. I mentioned this to Timmie, who immediately brought up the November election.
So after recording the judgement paperwork, I went and applied for an absentee ballot. One does need to keep track of the important stuff, after all - the responsibility for our present government lies squarely on the shoulders of those who don't vote.
And to round things off, I paid my overdue PG&E bill with Timmie's last rent payment.
Then off to Valley Fair, to try to see cmjfoxfyre again (unsuccessfully), and wait for CCF.
That's coming up about now, so I should head thitherward.
