Yet More Productivity-ness

Lessee. Last night I made it to the bar at pretty much exactly 7:00pm, and had everything set up and ready to go by 8:00pm. Part of the idea was that I could then fiddle around with Audacity a bit, and make some progress on the Strife version of If You're Not The One.

And it was quite useful. I learned exactly how little I know of Audacity. So one of my side-projects for the rest of the show was reading Audacity tutorials.

What with one thing and another, I didn't start the actual show until about 8:38pm. It was, on the whole, a very slow night for a Thursday. In fact, until the various softball people showed up, it was positively dead.

Not a huge amount of excitement to report. Daniel came back, and after a bit got drawn into a few conversations, which is quite good. Those who were there got to sing a reasonable amount: I ended the 8th round at about 2:05am (I was going to get supersniffles in for her last song, dammit).

Then I gathered up all the various pieces I'm going to need for tomorrow, and started loading the car in between Paula lamentations about the lack of business. Somehow she expects me to coordinate shilling on Gay.com. Yeah.

I grabbed some Denny's, made it home, decided to not bother unloading the car, and fell asleep.

Today I woke up at something like 10:00am, and started fiddling with the Alex track. I figured I had good enough by 2:00pm, took a shower, then unloaded the car. By the time I was finished, I kinda wondered what the point of the shower had been.

Then off to get a card for my dad, pick up the dry cleaning (which will be way too hot tomorrow. I'm going to have to bring several changes of clothes), then up the hill for my dad's birthday party and vehicle exchange.

The party went quite well. In the end it was myself, my cousin Beth, and my parents' old friend Carol. And much too much Indian food.

Then home. Now I'm going to cut some slips, repair a speaker stand, and sleep. In that order. So there.
