The Days Blend

Monday's show was, well, pleasant. Certainly not busy, but, well, it's Monday.

trivialt and kozmic_tar showed up early, and kept us going. In more ways than one - Stan was three sheets to the wind by the end of the night.

Which had its odd moments. Stanley gets a little... playful when he's drunk. I can now say from experience that it's hard to announce and change discs when someone's tickling you.

Otherwise, the usual cast of characters. The lovely and talented valeriesparks. Her attachment mr_seed and her other attachment Alex. A lovely singer named Becky that I gather I should remember, and her cute attachment. We had cute lesbians slow-dancing on the dance floor at a few points.

I had both Valerie and Stan throwing songs at me, which is always fun. I actually didn't do too bad on "Hard to Handle".

After about 9 rounds, I closed up (1:30 sharp) and headed home. And tried to sleep.

I periodically get in these states where lying down causes coughing fits. In this case, fits so bad that they gave me the hiccups. This was probably karma - I was making fun of Stan's hiccups earlier.

So not much sleep was to be had. I finished up my tax estimation, printed out all the necessary forms, and put off writing the check. I don't think anything else productive.

Around 10:00, I showered, gathered up my stuff, and headed out. The tax payment's been mailed out (Ouch), with the check inside this envelope (I checked twice). By contrast, the California payment is so low that I didn't have to file anything. And I dropped by my bank, and sort of got the check thing straightened out - he just deposited the check, and told me to stop worrying so much. They'd find the empty envelope and cancel everything. Which they have - all is now back to normal.

I did some shopping, and then met up with timenchanter and cekyr0 for lunch. Good times as always.

Then home and to sleep. I just work up about an hour ago, a little groggy from the time shift, but much much better. Now if I can only get myself to do some damn work to try to compensate for having sent all my money to the IRS...
