Not Dead Yet
First things - I'm definitely better, which seems to indicate that this
"Get a lot of rest early" thing actually works. While I've been a
little feverish for the last few days, I haven't had any truly bad
effects at all - some slightly sore sinuses, is all.
On the other hand, the symptoms could be lurking, waiting to strike at a later point...
As far as activities, well, I couldn't miss my first opportunity for dinner and a movie at the Hamptons, could I? Not that we ever got to the movie part - the closest was
cekyr0, misswong77, and I dorking out over cartoon and movie theme songs. Not to mention the immense round of Spaceballs quotes.
timenchanter made dinner, Lucinda made dessert, we all talked and played games, and I got to spend a little time with unbreak_able,
which I've been sorely missing. I'm not sure how I'm going to
deal with her on the east coast - when I have the money to afford a
once-a-month visit, I don't have the time. Ah well - at least
she's going to a place she considers home, and where she has a chance
to pull off the career she wants.
I should be going back to work tomorrow. In fact I'm finally scanning documents right now (fun.). I'm beginning to think I'll be able to manage the show tonight, as well, which would be cool.
