Despite Depeche Mode, we had quite a good crowd, including both trivialt and the attention-starved qzar_mystik.
dwo brought in 6 new discs, containing some repeats (inevitable), but a lot of great new songs. He posted the song list here. Apart from my first song, which was grabbed at random from my envelope (I was in a hurry), everything I sang came from his new additions.
With all the hardware drama, I didn't get started until about 9:10, at which point about 9 people had signed up. timenchanter very kindly helped with entering those on the chart and pulling discs while I hyperventilated.
From then on, things were pretty smooth sailing. A few new faces - mostly people that just left the DM concert (And were already pretty sloshed).
twitchet made it in after a long absence, so I got some much-needed snuggles.
I managed to squeeze in a 4th round just before closing at 1:45, so both lucydogstringer and supersniffles got two songs.
I took forever closing down after that - poor Heather had to sit around looking bored for quite a bit. Then I drove her home, turned around, and went to Cindi's place.
That was nice. We simply hung out, talked, and she fed me yummy food. She showed me her extremely pregnant mouse, which was most definitely not a fat male.
Then I went home and crashed. I woke up today around 2pm, and am still catching up with stuff. I'd jump in the shower, but I'm waiting for a UPS delivery that may never come. They sometimes have a hard time finding this house - most mapping programs don't locate it properly.
Tonight I'm meeting my parents and Beth for a nice dinner to celebrate both my birthday and my mother's.
Then Beth and I will probably find something to do.
