Frida was disappointed I hadn't been able to make it Tuesday, and would have read about it in my LJ (Hi Frida!), except her 'net connection wasn't working. She hadn't really been able to make it work for some days, and even talkthroughs with Stuart over the phone hadn't helped.
So I (ahem) fixed it.
After that, a low-key evening. She had a meeting to go to, so a large part of the time I was just holding down the house, in case Sabrina spontaneously combusted. Fortunately the little one stayed in bed, so I had a reasonably calm time - just myself and the pot roast Frida left on the stove.
She got back somewhere around 10:30-11:00, and we talked about "stuff" for an hour or two. Then she went to bed, since she had to actually get up and take Sabrina to school for a change.
I read my nightly run of webcomics, packed up and came home. What with one thing and another, I didn't get to bed until 4:00 - 4:30.
Which felt real good when I got up at 6:30. This morning was my arraignment in traffic court, and I wasn'g going to miss it. The last thing I need is a warrant out because I overslept.
I survived the court - apparently I'm re-eligible for traffic school, so I wimped out and took that, rather than fight the thing. It would be my word against the cops, and there are two of them. And they're cops.
So I just finished signing up for the online school. Well, that and about an hour and a half of dozing in my chair. Time to transfer to bed for a few hours.
