Last night's big surprise visit was Yasser and Jessica. Yasser has been around every so often, but I don't think I'd seen Jessica since before she got pregnant - and their daughter's now 7 months old! It was good to see her again - she's put on a little bit of weight, and as a result is actually even sexier than she used to be.
spawrhawk came in for several hours, which is always pleasant. As did misswong77, which I wasn't expecting. She seems to be getting mildly addicted - though I'm sure this will evaporate next week when classes start. Hard to hang out at a show that starts about your bedtime, and all.
hollyk had some difficulty singing her songs, since people kept molesting her during them. She especially had trouble during "Do You Wanna Touch Me", which was, well, only to be expected. She seemed to be especially worried about me, so I just walked over, stood close, and smiled. More wasn't exactly necessary...
trivialt was quite conspicuous by his absence. kozmic_tar was there, but fairly subdued.
I announced a last rotation around 12:40. It ended something like 1:25, and then I decided to do a quickie round for the people still there, which ran until 1:50.
supersniffles than abandoned us for her pot roast, so timenchanter, markobellydance and I went off to Carrows, where I had supper, they had dessert, and we all had a great conversation.
Then home, where I passed out until well after noon. This was that level of sleep where you don't move enough to restore circulation in the limbs - it took something like 20 minutes to get my hands back to full sensation. Some interesting dreams, though - I wish I had had the skill to sketch the image of the Angel of Death as a skeleton made of clouds before I lost it.
My phone was malfunctioning all last night - the water apparently made it think a headset was inserted, which makes all other connections, including Bluetooth, fail for some reason. <lj user="cekyr0> tried to call me twice at the beginning of the show. I texted him back, but haven't heard anything - except Debbie's assurance that they all made it safe. It all seems to be OK now, but we'll see... Hopefully now I can get a couple of hours work done before meeting Lucinda for clam chowder.
