Only a couple of glitches - first, my new, bedroom-sized suitcase does not fit well through turnstiles. At one point, this was exceedingly comical. Second, while dithering over which airtrain to take, timenchanter got on - and I was cut off by the closing doors. He had to wait around until I could grab the next appropriate train.
We got here, to Debbie and orpheusnyc's very pretty little apartment, dropped off our stuff, hugged Eddie, and decompressed.
Not too long after that, Debbie called to say she'd be home early (Her own story). I took a shower that, of course, took longer than her getting home, and then she, Timmie, and I took off.
We essentially wandered around aimlessly. 'Twas great. I don't know about Timmie, but I was too tired to sit and watch anything without falling asleep, but just walking through NY with two of my favorite people was wonderful. Good exercise, too.
We ate at a little Italian place, which Debbie handled quite gracefully.
As we were getting on the subway to come back, I got a call from my boss - they really want some test modules put together. No pressure, of course. So for the last few hours I've been working. This is good - I really need to work more hours. Some of it was spent quite companionably with Eddie, who's now trying to sleep.
I'm not sure how he's going to manage, between my typing and Timmie's snoring, but I wish him luck.
I should get to sleep shortly - we've got quite a day planned tomorrow, and electrichobbit is going to be able to join us sooner than planned (Yay!).
