Only a couple of glitches - first, my new, bedroom-sized suitcase does not fit well through turnstiles. At one point, this was exceedingly comical. Second, while dithering over which airtrain to take,
We got here, to Debbie and
Not too long after that, Debbie called to say she'd be home early (Her own story). I took a shower that, of course, took longer than her getting home, and then she, Timmie, and I took off.
We essentially wandered around aimlessly. 'Twas great. I don't know about Timmie, but I was too tired to sit and watch anything without falling asleep, but just walking through NY with two of my favorite people was wonderful. Good exercise, too.
We ate at a little Italian place, which Debbie handled quite gracefully.
As we were getting on the subway to come back, I got a call from my boss - they really want some test modules put together. No pressure, of course. So for the last few hours I've been working. This is good - I really need to work more hours. Some of it was spent quite companionably with Eddie, who's now trying to sleep.
I'm not sure how he's going to manage, between my typing and Timmie's snoring, but I wish him luck.
