It's part of their emigration process. The more she hears the news, the happier she is that she's getting out of the country. Things keep reminding her more and more of the Soviet Union.
Anyway. Got a couple of hours of work in, then the show. A slow night - apparently the whole week's been slow. But by contrast with Monday, there was a show. bluize actually sang a couple of songs she'd never done before. wavewarrior sang 3.
hollyk spent a lot more time than she originally intended to. It was really nice seeing her cheerful, for a change.
Honey's back from Panama, so we got a little of the Honey&Nikki show.
timenchanter was there pretty much all night. This was really nice, except for the reason.
neo83 spent several hours, and sang this time.
And supersniffles brought me a really cool scarf. I'm going to have to fight Trudi for it, though...
During all this time, Trudi was cleaning the house and reorganizing my room. It's really nice - and the place looks much better (I can see my floor!) - but the way she's doing it to mark her territory is mildly disturbing.
I got to lie in bed this morning, and hear Trudi's mom (on the phone) go on about what a great son-in-law I'd make. I could only hear so much from under the pillows I had over my head, however.
Trudi found a couple of cheap tickets to fright night at Marine World, and we were going to go today, but I really need to work. So I'm sending her and Dez off on their own - possibly with my car.
It is, of course, completely coincidental that I'd therefore be free for Clam Chowder night. And interesting that I loaded all the latest movie times for Wallace&Grommit.
Anyway, gotta get a bit more sleep before heading off to work. Good night.
